Privacy Policy for Rebios App

This privacy policy governs your use of the software application Rebios (“Application”) for mobile devices and Apple Watch that was created by rebios.fit. 

The Application is able to track your runs. From within Application you may do a detailed analysis of your run, as well as compare runs against each other. 

What information does the Application obtain and how is it used?

The Application will collect certain information automatically. Specifically, it will collect following information: 

i. Application will automatically collect precise real time location information and Motion data of the device. This information will be used to calculate duration, speed, and other metrics, and enables you to track and analyze your runs. 

ii. Application will automatically collect information from Bluetooth LE devices, Microsoft Band and Apple Watch you have enabled in Application. You can always, on per run basis, enable or disable the collection of data from such devices. The information collected will enable you to track and analyze your runs.

 iii. Application enables you to manually add your weight. This is optional, and is only provided so you can track your weight and calculating calorie burn. 

If you do not want to store real time location information for the purposes set forth above, you should turn off location services for Application in your mobile phone settings. Please note that this will severely restrict the functionality of Application. 

If you permanently do not want to store information from Bluetooth LE devices or Microsoft Band, you have to delete the device you have connected in Application. With regard to Apple Watch, information will not be processed and stored by Application if Apple Watch is turned off from the Devices screen.

Following data will automatically be processed and stored by Application:

i. Motion data is used by Application to improve the way speed is calculated during your run.

ii. Location Services is used by Application, in the background, to track your route, speed and distance when you run.

iii. Heart Rate Health data collected by Apple Watch software application is used by Application to track your heart rate during your exercise.

iiii. Heart Rate data from connected Bluetooth Devices and from Microsoft Band. 

When will the collection of information happen?

The automatic collection of location information and motion data, and information from connected Bluetooth devices, Microsoft Band and Apple Watch will automatically happen in the background only when you have pressed the “Run” button in Application. Collection of information will terminate when you press the “Stop” button, or when using the “Auto Stop” feature of Application. The “Auto Stop” feature is dependent on Apples implementation of Region Monitoring and may fail in certain conditions. It is always your responsibility to check that automatic collection have stopped when using the “Auto Stop” feature.

How can I delete the information collected by Application?

You can, at any time, delete information collected either by deleting Application, or by deleting one or more Runs. Information collected by Bluetooth LE devices, Microsoft Band and Apple Watch can be deleted from within the Application, and is done by deleting the paired device. You can, at any time, delete the manually recorded weight information from the Application. 

Do others see and/or have access to information obtained by the Application?

The only way of sharing/exporting information collected by Application is by exporting runs to iCloud Drive or to a third party Storage Providers installed on the device. When exporting from Application the information transmitted, is no longer governed by this Privacy Policy. Therefore, we strongly recommend that you consult Privacy Policy for iCloud Drive or third party Storage Providers you use. 

When using Rebios with the Microsoft Band and Microsoft Band App, Microsoft will collect Band sensor data, telemetry data (e.g. operating system, number of processors, graphic chipset, memory, device type, locale, time) in order to improve Microsoft products and services. Changes

This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time for any reason. We will notify you of any changes to our Privacy Policy by posting the new Privacy Policy at http://rebios.fit. You are advised to consult this Privacy Policy regularly for any changes, as continued use is deemed approval of all changes.
